The trip with us to Tamsøya starts at the old ferry peer in Repvåg. From here, you’ll be a passenger on our 600 horsepowered, 35 feet RIB boat, and it’ll take about 15 minutes to reach the island. The boat has a passenger capacity of 12, and everyone will be equipped with regatta (floatation) suits and life vests.
Repvåg is 49km north of Olderfjord. To get there you follow road E69, and (from the south) take a right turn onto Fylkesvei (county road) 175. For those sailing on the Hurtigrute, you can get off at either Hammerfest, Havøysund or Honningsvåg. If you wish to travel to Finnmark by plane, the following airports are your best stops: Lakselv, Hammerfest, Alta or Honningsvåg. From there, you can get to Repvåg by car or bus. Once there, you can park for free along the fence of the large blue house with a red barn.
